Woodland Workshop LLC is run by Mike Choiniere of Old Town, ME, USA. Mike was a frame to finish carpenter in both commercial and residential industries in his late teens/early twenties and progressed through positions in the construction field. One thing led to another and he graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in mechanical engineering in 2016. After a few years of research in the design and development of fluid laboratories and ocean wave energy conversion, he settled into a stable career in manufacturing engineering and design.

A continuous and lifelong passion for woodworking was always in temporary, pop-up "shop" settings as Mike and his family moved throughout New England from apartment to apartment, job to job, school to school, etc. Finally settling in beautiful Old Town, Maine with his partner Jasmyn (of Oak and Lupine), the shop grew into something worthy of a business.
